Lea Hough Chartered Surveyors is an RICS Regulated firm and all of our Chartered Surveyors are qualified members of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), which is the professional regulatory body.
The RICS regulate and promote the surveying profession; maintain the highest educational and professional standards; protect clients and consumers via a strict code of ethics; and provide impartial advice and guidance.
As part of the RICS Regulations, our practice is regularly audited by the RICS and we adhere to all RICS requirements including holding professional indemnity insurance cover and having a formal complaints handling procedure.
Only qualified RICS members who have the designation MRICS or FRICS are entitled to call themselves “Chartered Surveyor”, and qualification involves passing an assessment of professional competence (APC).
To ensure compliance with RICS’s stringent requirements, all of our Chartered Surveyors annually undergo continuing professional development (CPD), as part of our commitment to ongoing training and development.
We also have a Structured Training Plan for our graduates and trainee surveyors who are working towards becoming Chartered Surveyors, via their APC, and our Plan has been approved by the RICS.
Additionally all of our Chartered Valuation Surveyors are also accredited RICS Registered Valuers and are registered with the RICS Valuer Registration Schemes (VRS).
